Last Saturday I had the great privilege of working with some LOVELY photographers at my Natural Lighting Food Photography Workshop. We had a perfect-sized group and were able to get lots of good food photography time in. I set the workshop up so that after instruction, there were food “stations” all over my house for each photographer to take 15 minutes or so photographing. Then they’d rotate to the next station which inevitably was a different lighting situation for them to figure out. I thought it would be fun to showcase some of their fabulous photos to show you how their talent really blossomed after the workshop. They each selected a few of their favorite food photos to share.
Here are Meili’s:
Here are Mandee’s:
Aren’t they GORGEOUS and lick-the-pic, delicious? I am so proud of all of my students! They worked really hard at the workshop to create some scrumptious results. All of them said that my guarantee – that they’d all leave being able to take better food photos and would feel more comfortable with their food photography efforts – was met.
Tomorrow I’ll have Part 2, showing more of the students’ yummy food photos from the Natural Lighting Workshop…. stay tuned!
p.s. There are still a few seats left for next week’s Food Photography Color Theory and Food Styling Class/Workshop. We’d love to see you there! There are some REALLY yummy, fun things planned! And since I’m in such a happy mood, I decided to extend the Early Bird Combo ticket until next Thursday – woot! But, snag your ticket quick before the tickets are gone!
